Mom's fiftieth is on Saturday, and her daughter is secretly organising a party with her stepfather. The planning drifts from the kitchen table to the spare bedroom, and things stop being about balloons. Then Aunt Sarah turns up.

Party planning gone off script

The premise starts sweet: a daughter wants to make her mother's milestone birthday special, and she enlists her stepdad. Lists, decorations, a secret to keep. The secret they end up keeping is a different one.

The surprise-party framing gives the series a deadline (Saturday) and a reason for whispering. Aunt Sarah's arrival late in the run is the wildcard that complicates everything.

It is a cheeky, fast premise with the Taboo tag, and the irony of a surprise for Mom that Mom must never discover runs through it. Party chores supply the excuses: shopping trips, decorations to hide, a cake to collect. Every errand becomes a chance to be alone, and every chance is used.

Episode 1: the plan

The opener sets the party plan and the first private meeting. It ends with the planning very far off topic.

Aunt Sarah arrives

The paid chapters run up to the party, with Aunt Sarah adding a third person to the secret.

Our Surprise for Mom!: how uncensored is it?

Open shelf: start it without signing in, with teasing in the free chapters. The Taboo tag covers the paid episodes, at 12 tokens each.

The daughter, her stepdad and Aunt Sarah

The daughter is played by the Candy AI character Sofia Fletcher; the stepdad is her accomplice; Aunt Sarah is the late complication; Mom is the birthday girl who must not know.

Our Surprise for Mom!: which episodes are free, which cost tokens

Our Surprise for Mom! is on the open shelf. Episode 1 plays for anyone, with no email asked; episode 2 opens after a free sign-up. Those two episodes are the cheapest way to find out how far this particular story goes.

Episodes 3 to 5 are the paid stretch at 12 tokens each, 36 tokens for the lot, the standard rate for series without a creator twin. Premium adds 100 tokens every month, which covers this run in a single month.
