He has lost to his wife's sister on the course for a decade. Today she adds a wager, and the forfeit will be whatever the victor wants. By the ninth hole it is not golf any more. By the eighteenth, the spouses have joined in.

The bet

Diana, the sister-in-law, has beaten him for a decade and enjoys reminding him. This round comes with a wager whose terms are left deliberately open. The narrator agrees because he is sure he will lose either way, and he is right in more ways than he expects.

The genius of the setup is the scorecard. Each hole is a chapter beat, the bet tightens as the round goes on, and the closing line of the synopsis tells you the spouses are not watching from the clubhouse for long.

Episode 1: the first tee

The opener lays out the rivalry and the wager. It is all banter and slow-motion teasing on the course, with Diana in complete control.

The back nine

The paid chapters cover the turn and the back nine, where the bet is paid and the circle widens to include both marriages. The ending is the series' boldest move: what starts as a private rivalry becomes a four-way arrangement, and the golf course, of all places, is where everyone's marriage is renegotiated. Diana remains the best thing in it, smug, competitive and always a stroke ahead.

How explicit does the round get?

Open shelf, so episode 1 needs no login and the free pair is banter more than anything else. The paid chapters are where the wager is collected, and the Wife and MILF tags hint at the direction. No creator twin, so 12 tokens a chapter.

Diana and her brother-in-law

Diana is the sister-in-law, a Candy AI character who plays to win. The narrator is the husband who keeps losing. Their spouses come in late.
